I. The Eighth Benchmark Lean Improvement Competition, Qilu Division

The Qilu Division of the 8th Benchmark Lean Improvement Competition grandly opened on August 31, 2024. This sub-competition brought together nine elite teams, each showcasing their substantial achievements in the field of lean improvement.

Li Chen, Director of Machining at Shandong Xiangde Electromechanical Co., Ltd., led his team to stand out in the fierce competition with their outstanding lean improvement project. Adhering to the corporate spirit of “pursuing excellence through continuous refinement,” the team remained deeply rooted in the frontlines of production. With keen observation and a bold innovative mindset, they meticulously designed and implemented highly effective lean improvement solutions centered around the core objectives of “enhancing production efficiency and reducing operational costs.” Through multi-dimensional improvements such as process optimization, equipment upgrades, and personnel training, the project significantly boosted product quality and production efficiency while effectively reducing energy consumption and waste. These efforts have generated substantial economic and social benefits for the enterprise.
