Xiangde Electromechanical's ZDY-17000LD intelligent directional drilling rig has been put into operation in the Xinjiang region, achieving a remarkable milestone with a single-hole drilling depth of 1,419 meters, setting a new record!

Xinjiang Heishi Energy Co., Ltd. actively responds to the national call for the intelligent transformation of the energy industry, dedicated to creating an intelligent production environment that integrates efficient extraction and safe operations. Xiangde Electromechanical's ZDY-17000LD intelligent directional drilling rig has been deployed at Heishi Energy’s mining site, where it has successfully completed the construction of five directional drill holes. The cumulative total footage reached 4,439 meters, with a single-hole depth of 1,419 meters, setting a new achievement!

The overall mine field exhibits a gently inclined monocline structure from south to north, with a dip direction of 8° to 10° and a dip angle ranging from 10° to 15°. Coupled with a medium hydrogeological type, the drilling process required traversing multiple layers, including mudstone, siltstone, and sandstone. The soft coal seams, along with the mudstone and silty mudstone interbedded in the roof and floor of the coal seam, significantly increased risks such as mudstone shrinkage and drill sticking.
